Corrales Brewer/Cellarperson
Ex Novo Brewing in Corrales, NM is growing and seeking qualified, quality-minded applicants for its brewer/cellarperson position. This is a full-time, hourly position, available immediately. We are a packaging production brewery with a focus on canned beer, operating a 5 bbl and 20 bbl brewhouse. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience brewing in a small- to mid-sized craft brewery
The person in this role will be responsible for operation in brewhouse, cellar and occasional packaging assistance to produce a variety of beer styles in strict adherence to Ex Novo’s process, quality and safety standards.

Corrales Taproom Server
Ex Novo has been open since May ’19 in beautiful Corrales, NM and we’ve enjoyed great reception from the community! Come join our close-knit team and sling beers for a fast-growing company with plenty of opportunities for growth in the future. We have a production brewery on our 3 acre site, and a separate taproom/beer garden. Our taproom has 16 taps and a great patio with great regulars and frequent “beer tourists”.
It’s critical that as a team member you share our service values. Being welcoming and friendly to every guest that visits, calls or engages with us. Have genuine human connections, build community (after all it is a public house), and take ownership over all guest experiences. We require a sense of urgency and efficiency, an eye for detail, anticipating customer’s needs, and adaptability. Everyone pitches in to get the work done and keep up our service environment.
Serving/bartending or beertending/quick service counter experience is required. Multiple year experience is a plus!
You must be able to lift 70lbs and move 160lb kegs and be certified to serve alcohol in the state of New Mexico.
Have a base knowledge for craft beer and the brewing process but certainly have an interest in learning more! You will be required to take and pass the Cicerone Beer Server exam within the first 90 days of employment.

ALBUQUERQUE
Downtown Assistant General Manager – Salaried Position
OVERVIEW
The AGM reports to the GM and oversees all FOH employees and operations in their absence. Primary duties include employee management, inventory management, and labor control. The AGM will exhibit a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations. The AGM will work closely with the GM to hit COGS/Labor targets, along with continuing assessments of employee performance, and facility upkeep. The AGM is expected to be a brand ambassador both in and outside of the pub.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Work lockstep with the GM and leadership team to ensure standards and expectations are upheld on a daily basis, and perform the duties of the GM in their absence. The primary duty of this role is providing full support to on the floor operations.
Work with GM to determine Labor costs on a bi weekly basis, communicating actionable information to both Front and Back of the house leadership teams. Ensure daily checklists, weekly cleaning lists and daily cash outs are completed.
Ordering and Inventory control – work directly with vendors and ensure the pub is supplied with all materials (Liquor, beer, paper, chemicals, coffee supplies etc), keeping in weekly contact. Responsible for logging invoices, assisting with weekly inventory and developing Inventory/Systems to ensure loss prevention for entire restaurant.
Employee Documentation – Assist with keeping all necessary documentation up to date, including relevant employee documents, service permits and reviews.
Directly oversee the FOH leadership team, attend and help schedule all FOH meetings.
Work with GM on employee reviews – ensure Introductory and bi annual review of employees are carried out effectively and on time along with providing regular relevant coaching to employees. The AGM will work closely with the GM on hiring and employee retention.
Mentoring of all Employees – Assist the GM in providing regular educational and learning opportunities to Front of the house teams while ensuring the FOH leadership team is given the tools and knowledge needed to cultivate success. They will also help conduct relevant meetings to ensure clear transmission of information and team integration.
Will assist with money handling, bank visits, and reporting tips.
Coordinate with FOH Lead/Kitchen Management to ensure workplace safety, standards and compliance are met and up to date. Ensure staff are knowledgeable and implement food safety and sanitary procedures.
Manage customer requests/complaints, including booking and scheduling large groups and private events.
Work with GM on developing Quarterly Outlook for front of the house teams – communicate and integrate this outlook with overall pub and company operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and move up to 60lbs up and down stairs. Exposure to rain and temperatures from 32-100F for prolonged periods, spends between 6-8 hrs at a time on their feet in a fast paced environment.
