Restaurant General Manager
Hours: Full-time
Ex Novo Brewing Company is looking for an experienced hospitality leader to oversee our Downtown Albuquerque campus, home to our full-service restaurant, award-winning craft beer, Bitter Nun cocktail lounge, and Sammy’s Deli.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building teams, developing future leaders, creating exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence. You’ll work closely with ownership and department leaders to shape the culture and future of one of New Mexico’s most respected breweries.

What You’ll Do
- Lead all Downtown restaurant operations.
- Coach and develop Front and Back of House leadership teams.
- Build a culture rooted in accountability, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
- Drive labor, food cost, beverage cost, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences every day.
- Partner with the Executive Chef to maintain outstanding culinary and service standards.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, employee development, and retention.
- Manage inventory, facility maintenance, and operational systems.
- Conduct regular leadership meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning and business growth.
- Has at least 5 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
- Has experience leading leaders—not just managing employees.
- Understands restaurant financials, labor management, and inventory control.
- Communicates clearly and confidently.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Builds trust through consistency and accountability.
- Leads with humility, integrity, and a willingness to coach others.
- Wants to make the people around them better.
