It All Started When…
Our Mission, Brewing for a Better World
From the outset, our mission has been simple yet profound: to donate a much of our net profits to organizations actively working towards building a better world. We believe in the power of community, and we've dedicated ourselves to making a difference in both local and global causes.
Growth and Expansion, From Portland to Beaverton and Beyond
In our first five years, the support we received from our community allowed us to expand our horizons. We proudly opened a second brewpub in Beaverton, Oregon, providing more spaces for beer enthusiasts to experience the Ex Novo vibe. Alongside this, we introduced the Communitas Program, a volunteer initiative connecting us directly with our neighbors and local communities to contribute to various causes and initiatives.
In 2019, we took a leap and expanded to a significantly larger brewing facility in Corrales, New Mexico, the hometown of our CEO and Founder, Joel Gregory. The move was a testament to our commitment to brewing excellence and spreading our Drink Beer, Do Good culture far and wide.
Challenges and Decisions, Adapting to the Times
Facing the challenges posed by the pandemic, rising costs of goods, and an increasingly saturated market, we made the difficult decision in December 2023 to sell our two Oregon locations. This decision, while challenging, was driven by our dedication to navigating the evolving landscape and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Ex Novo Brewing. Lazy Days Brewing Company has taken over both EN Brewpubs in Oregon, and will remain contract brewing your favorite beer and serving the iconic deep dish pizzas out of their locations.
